![]() It's unknown why the designs were changed, but my designs here are combinations between their designs from both games, since there were aspects of both designs that I liked. Their designs were different between Nexomon and the sequel, Nexomon: Extinction. These are not the exact designs, but simply my take on them. I won't give spoilers (check out the game if you are interested in finding out more about it) but as for the Nexomon depicted, these are referred to as the Primordial Tyrants. With these differences, Nexomon has fewer types than Pokemon and there are no dual type Nexomon, making type matchups simpler and less complicated. ![]() Fighting type is also left out and is merged with the normal type, since both are physically element-less attack types anyway. ![]() Dark type is left out and is instead merged with psychic and ghost types, as those 2 types can use dark magic. Ice type is left out and is instead counted as water type since ice is frozen water. There are no poison type Nexomon since different attack types, like plant or water, can be toxic and poison targets. The mineral type is a combination of Pokemon's rock, ground, and steel types. There's no dragon, bug, or fairy type as those are a species in the Nexomon universe, not a type. The Primordial Tyrants (the Nexomon shown in my drawing) are even more powerful than ordinary Tyrants. It has many differences from Pokemon such as the more simplified types and the fact that many higher ranked Nexomon (like the Tyrants and the King/Queen of the Nexomon) are capable of speech and, similar to Legendary Pokemon, are exceptionally powerful. ![]() It is similar to Pokemon, but it's a series all on its own and it has an amazing storyline. Nexomon and Nexomon: Extinction are obscure games among most people. ![]()
